    • News Flash!  
      Roland Friestad, our Vintage Flier editor, had a heart attack on 4/25. He came home on 4/27 and is doing satisfactorily. By Doctor's order, he is not to climb any stairs.
       
      His Computer is in the basement of his house, so he hopes to have it moved to the first floor so he can work on the Vintage Flier. Roland said we should expect a delay in the publication of issue #103 although he hopes to keep the delay to a minimum.

       

      Our Best Wishes go out to you, Roland for a Speedy Recovery!

     
    VR/CS President Bob Noll received the Frank and John Zaic Memorial Award in behalf of VR/CS from John Worth at the Toledo Convention recently.  
    "

    The plaque states - "For exceptional service in maintaining, furthering, recording and demonstrating the history of Radio Control aeromodeling, in appreciation of this category as the largest segment of the AMA."

    Congratulations VRCS!

    VR/CS ELIGIBLE PLANE CUTOFF DATE CHANGED
    Effective January 1, 2008, plane designs must be 35 years old. Therefore, designs must be prior to January 1, 1974.
